Have you asked the PSO if he'll be transitioning to the other centers, or a non-AMF place?
If you like him, I'd definitely ask.
One is a family place with arcades, etc that just happens to have bowling lanes. The other is an AMF center. Not surprised this particular AMF closed as there are two other AMF's within 5-6 miles of it. But the PSO there is the one that I trusted drilling my ball. The last day for it is this Sunday
Guess there is more consolidation going on. Summer time is pretty slow

I did. He wants to move to another AMF center down the street because the PSO owner at that shop wants to sell. The problem is the PSO at the one that is closing doesn't want to buy his shop, he just wants to lease the place. He already has his own equipment, etc.
At this point things are up in the air. He definitely was in a somber mood understandably.
That stinks my home alley here in Dunbar is closing this Friday. We just got back from Louisville, Ky. last weekend and two of the AMF Houses I liked there had closed. The one had a really nice proshop in it that actually stocked some stuff which you can't find here in my local area.

There was over saturation in my area. Within reasonable driving distance there are 6 centers. Now two are gone so just 4.
It is sad to see all the people lose their jobs.
That really sucks. We've lost many centers around me over the years . Been a while since losing one . I'm guessing they are spaced just far enough to survive.
Yeah sounds like they are consolidating two centers into one since they are only 2 miles apart. And the one that is closing now although in a busy street it is sandwiched between many car dealerships. Real estate value is probably too good to pass up. The other center down the road the building is nicer but location isn't as visible
Just heard another closing here in Denver, Elitch Lanes. Granted I've never been there but they seem to be going away. I believe a Vitamin Cottage is going to replace it
