I'm not going to list them but there are probably over a dozen if not more legitimate online bowling ball retailers. Bowlingball.com included.
Bowling balls are heavy. We all know that.
I'm guessing they all drop ship their orders instead of maintaining a large stock of bowling balls. Especially since each ball will have to come in multiple weights.
Not sure about the other accessories such as shoes, tape, clothes, etc
back in February, I placed an online order for:
2 Storm Balls
1 KR StrikeForce bag
pair of Dexters
pair of Linds
and some other odds and ends
The Linds came from one location (possible drop ship, since it came from a different state)
Everything else came in one box, all 41 pounds
Storm Balls are made in Utah and my order came from IN
