Very Good. Like another discussion though, it assumes you can get information on how the oil( pattern and volume) were laid down. Also, how much activity.
This presentation introduces a method on how to use your eyes and some things a player thinks of while bowling.
It covers key pins, ball phases, oil patterns, oil transition, the pattern length minus 31 formula and 2-point targeting. It identifies the exit point, range finders, arrows, strike and spare zones. Presents ball path targeting with eye movement and a touch of the mental game.
This presentation leaves lots of room for Coaches/Instructors to fine tune the game.

This video mentions nothing about the speed of the bowling ball. Is it the goal of a great bowler to throw the same speed and switch balls due to conditions? I always thought if the lanes start to break down, you could adjust your position, your speed, or the loft of your shot. Is this the old school way of bowling?
The video doesn't mention ball speed because the video is mainly about targeting methods.
No, the goal of a great bowler is to make the proper adjustments (Whether those adjustments are your ball speed, position, ball change etc.) and match up to the lane conditions so that they have the best chance of scoring. Is it the goal of a great bowler to throw the same speed and switch balls due to conditions?
You could, the video doesn't say you can't.I always thought if the lanes start to break down, you could adjust your position, your speed, or the loft of your shot.

I find it interesting that the creator recommends not trying to throw through your strike line path when trying to pick up spares unless you really have to. In my opinion, you should try and shoot for any spare in the way you find easiest. Unless you are bowling alone (which is not all that much fun) you cannot control what other bowlers do and should just assume that your line is going to have to move fairly often.
