Default Can't wait,Brunswick try it before you buy it demo !

One of the local pro shops is having a brunswick roll-out event.
They are going to have 8 new balls from DV8, Brunswick and Radical setup with turbo switch inserts
so we can try out the different balls !

Vandal, Hooligan Taunt and Thug Unruly
    Brute,and Mastermind Einstien
    Primo, Rave and Guru Master

Sounds like fun and cost only 10.00 !

Based on the last time Brunswick Ball Reps were out near me, as long as the Pro Shop can put enough $ up front, the demo day will go anywhere.

They also offered to ship balls pre-drilled for demos to shops if there was a guarentee of sufficient business.

But to get the Ball Rep / Pro to show up at the demo, there seemed to be $ up front required.

Have your local pro-shop look into it.

The Brute and the Einstein would be of interest for me to try, but I know I don't even need the Einstein since I already own a Scholar.

The PSO have several locations and I think a couple are in Chicago, I have no idea what arrangement they have with brunswick but I am glad to take part and try out some balls .

The demo was pretty cool, got there early and was able to throw some balls, the ball I thought on paper might work for me I didn't like at all (Einstein) The only one I liked less was the Hooligan Taunt. The Vandal was OK and the Rave and Primo was decent but not really suitable to my speed and revs with the heavy oil I play in. The Thug Unruly and Guru Master were the balls that really seemed to work for me and allow me to play a little deeper. Probably the Guru was a little better for me, after a couple of throws it felt comfortable and easy to control as if it was a ball I had used before .....
In fact I was so disappointed in the einstein I didn't even try the Brute

Thanks for the report. The Brute is supposed to be a great bench mark ball. I would love to try any one of the Gurus. That is too much ball for me but I bet it'd be fun to try out.

Too bad they didn't have the Melee Cross or Melee Jab -- both great balls!
