The video's should work now. I finally figured out how to change them from private to public.
Are there not tables or something to set your phone on? Just a suggestion also is to film in landscape mode, get more screen over all.
My $.02 from what I saw, you still have no push away which results in very little arm swing. This means you are muscling the ball vs. letting gravity do the work for you. Can mess with accuracy if you continue to muscle it.

Feet are getting to the line before the ball. Could be partly due to the short arm swing. Also your hand is on top of the ball at release, you want to be behind/under it.
That is something that I have a lot of trouble with when I do not wear my basic wrist brace. My wrist is extremely weak and breaks down easily but the release always feels better when I do not wear the brace. Hopefully I will eventually be able to keep my wrist cupped down to the release to help me stay more behind the ball.
My laptop crashed last week and I needed to have the entire thing wiped and reinstalled...so I lost some of my handy-dandy spreadsheets including my main bowling spreadsheet. Yesterday I re-populated the season series graph by using a combination of my Scores thread here on BB.com, an old league summary sheet from 2013-2014, and PinPal.
What I noticed is that very early on I made a step change from the mid-high 130s average...to generally having series in the high 400s...lets say 490s. And that jives with my average being in the 160s for each of the leagues I was in then.
I've noticed recently...that my scores are now falling around 550s. So in 1.5 years...I've went from a 163 average bowler to a 185 average bowler. Not quite 185...my composite sanctioned average is only about 181.
When you look at the averages...it seems like almost a 20 pin jump since last year's fall leagues. But when you look at the graph of series (I can attach a screenshot photo if it's desired)...it seems like such a small improvement.
Some of the difficulty has been in center to center variances.
For example...I've been in sanctioned leagues in 3 different houses. We'll call them Private, AMF, and Brunswick. The Brunswick leagues were sport shots and I've adjusted the averages using the usbc sport shot adjustment chart:
Private Center: 165 (13/14), 167 (2014), 164 (14/15), 173 (2015)
Brunswick: 174 (2014), 174 (14/15)
AMF: 190 (2015)
So averages alone don't really tell a story...because there's apparently something about the private center that causes me to average 7 to 26 pins higher than other houses. And it's probably more in the 15-20 pin range.
I've heard people who have watched me bowl (more than one person) claim that I should be a 180-200 average bowler based on what they see. Was I NOT a 180-200 average bowler simply because my main house caused me to average 15-20 pins lower than anywhere else? Or did something start to click late last season and now I went from 490s series to 550s series consistently?
And more importantly...what SHOULD I be seeing in terms of improvement? I take lessons once every few weeks and 2-5 times a year in Vegas. I bowl in 2 leagues. I practice at least once every two weeks. I stay current on articles here and articles on BTM. I refresh my arsenal every 1000 games or so.
So based on a progression (in average) of 165, 167/174, 174/164, 190/173...is that a decent progress rate?? Or, while I AM improving, is the rate of progress an issue??
Thanks.
