I know it seems like a crazy idea, but I wonder what the cost is for something like that?

I've seen local Craigslist ads for around $25K using used equipment, but it is Craigslist after all

But honestly, I'd end up bowling less with a pair of lanes in the house. Kind of like exercise equipment. Just seems better when you go to the gym.

I would find an ally closing up and grab a pair from them.

I used to know a local artist that bought up a lot of wood lanes when most houses were switching to synthetics. He custom stained them and put them in basements of some very expensive homes.

Even at 25k the payback is pretty long considering I spend 10 or 15 at most a week on practice.

But it would be fun and I have the space.
