Revolt Havoc Review
Description: The Revolt Havoc is the newest release in the Revolt line. It uses the Vanquish core from the Revolt line along with a new Helix HFS Reactive coverstock. This coverstock is at 3000 grit LSS out of the box. This symmetric core beast has an RG of 2.47 and a diff of .056 for the 15lb version.
Comments: The Revolt Havoc is designed to be used in medium-heavy oil conditions. The Havoc is very strong and reads the lane earlier then any current Motiv release but somehow still has awesome continuation through the pins. This is a ball motion that usually isn’t seen. Most balls that roll this early usually have trouble retaining energy downlane. For me, the Havoc read the lane approx 5-10 feet earlier then the Revolt. When comparing it to my Covert Revolt, the Revolt was longer downlane and had less overall hook. Being a lower rev players this is a great fit when the pattern is heavy in the front and I need to get the ball to read the midlane. Once this balls starts to read too early it’s a nice step down to the Revolt Vengeance.
Summary: Motiv continues to produce some of the strongest hitting balls on the market. The lineup offers a variety of ball motions for all types of players. The Havoc reads the lane early, makes it’s move and just continues through the pins like now other. It’s an excellent choice on higher volume patterns.
