That is a good choice. Fits a lot of peoples games very well.
Ordered a Storm IQ Tour from my local proshop after going back and forth. The IQ Tour also happened to be what the Storm Matchmaker lined me up with. Looking forward to having some fun with it. Gonna go ahead and have my fit/span checked at the same time, as I have been having some hand pain and skin irritation & swelling on the outside of my thumb at the joint (on the side - not the top). I had the thumb oval opened side to side a little bit last week, but it still seems like most of snugness on my thumbhole is coming from the sides and not top to bottom. I also know that a span that is a little short could cause this issue, but I will have my PSO have a look.

I can not remember the last time I bought a new ball that didn't disappoint me. Seems like the 1st time I use them the are not what I expected. Such a disappointing feeling. Half later start working but few have ever been memorable. Cell, Nano, LT48, Burgundy Hammer and black
U-dot that is about it.
I have had my share of disappointing ball purchases. Generally for a ball to be disappointing to me, it has to not perform the way the manufacturer stated it would perform on specific conditions. Roto-Grip Uproar was touted as a medium/light oil ball so I got one for light oil conditions. The ball hooks more than my Hyper Cell on even Medium/Heavy conditions.
Had it re-drilled to tame it down and I just don't use it as it's too unpredictable. Just didn't fit my game for what I intended to use it for.
That's disappointing in that I spent $170 on essentially a paperweight. Actually more than $170, spent another $60 to get it plugged and re-drilled.

I agree 100%. Darn shame.
I thought about trying that ball. I got the crux and liked it the zero I have I used as a test dummy for surface changing ha ha
I have tried a Crux and it was fun to play around with, but probably not the best fit for my game.
My Roto Grip Hay Wire was disappointing until I resurfaced it to 3000 and added polish. At first I thought what's all the hub bub with this ball it's horrible but after following suggestions from members wow it's now my favorite ball.
Roto Grip Sinister, Storm 2Fast, Roto Grip Haywire, Storm Joy Ride, Storm Phase, Storm Sky Rocket, Storm Mix, 14#equipment..Disabled bowler bowl from a wheel chair.

My Black Widow Legend was awful for the first 20 or so games. Couldn't get it to do much of anything. Once it got some wear it became a favorite go-to ball once the fresh had a game on it. My Brunswick Gold Rhino Vintage was awesome right out of the box. It shows that some balls need their surface altered to work for you.
