    Default Personal ball spinner

Anyone owns a personal ball spinner? I'm looking to buy one, or make one out of a table-top drill. If anyone has anything to say about a specific brand of spinner, I would appreciate it.

One of the best is the Innovative personal ball spinners and they have great customer service.
    I've used Innovative for years.

Vertex is a popular spinner also ( Innovative Bowling Products purchased Vertex Ball Spinners)

As for horsepower, I'd use a 1/2HP which is plenty for a home spinner. If you have a pro shop where it would see a lot use, then you'd want more and maybe two speeds.

Use the Forum search function and you can find several threads about spinners.

I bought a 1/3hp Vertex Ball Spinner last December from Vertex
and I have put it through the paces and it has held up just great.

I couldn't decide if I needed the 1/2hp or 1/3hp at first but I finally
decided on the 1/3 hp spinner and it does just fine. I haven't been
able to bog it down yet when sanding or polishing bowling balls no
matter how much pressure I use on it.

I say for what is it $20 or so dollars more if you feel more comfortable
with more power then get the 1/2hp model.

I bought the Vertex 1/2 HP about three years ago. I almost bought the Innovative due to name recognition but decided to save $40 aqnd try Vertex. I was relieved when I saw my card statement and it said "Innovative Ind."
I average 5 balls a week for full resurface. I haven't had a single issue and have been extremely happy with my purchase.

A ball spinner is going to be my Christmas present to myself this year. I was going to build one but for the price I will just buy one. I have noticed you very rarely ever see one for sale used.

Vertex 1/3 hp owner for 10 yrs or over. Still handling its business with the original belt. IMHO 1/3 hp is all you need for home use.
