I have the Innovative Spinner. Smaller HP rated one. Its' been bullet proof for 3 years now. Gets used weekly, has completely refinished about a dozen balls so far. Never had to contact their customer service since purchase, but they are awesome at that time.
Current THS Anvilane average 198. High Game: 279 Series: 749
Current bag: Brunswick Wicked Siege, Hammer Arson Hybrid, Brunswick LT-48, Motiv Sniper

You honestly don't need the highest hp/multiple speeds for home use.

I built mine out of a Harbor Freight tent-sale drill press, and an industrial mixing bowl. Surrounded it with a plastic storage tub to keep splatter off.

Less than $50 invested, been using it for 2 years and it's still working perfect.

Some people invert them and use the chuck to spin the bowl, but I thought it was easier to mount to the pulley. Different strokes.

I've seen a few homemade ball spinners out of drill presses, and some just blew apart. What I wanted to do is find a drill press like yours and mount it upside-down in this metal desk I have in the basement and drop a tub into it from the top to encase the ball. It would look like yours but in a desk.

Swingset, I would love some more pictures of your setup to see how you attached the bowl to the pulleys. That looks like a solid setup that I could duplicate. Harbor Freight has a drill press for $70 I could get. I was hoping to set it up where I could still manipulate the belt to change speeds.

I want to cut into the top of my desk and sink a tub into it. Then mount the drill press into the bottom of the desk.
