Sounds like a BLS feature that would be better suited for the on line version. you con add a whole line of data for each bowler.
One of the leagues I bowl in has changed the weekly scoring sheets adding 2 columns one showing what series pin-fall would increase your average by 1 pin and the other what level would decrease your average by one pin.
I noticed the number for one of our high average bowlers, he has to shoot a 707 to avoid dropping a pin in average ! Very enlightening when you see it expressed like that. The only down side is they removed the high game and series to make room.

If your league uses the BLS software (Bowling League Secretary) and posts the standings to leaguesecretary.com.
You can go there, find your league and click on the Average booster link for that league and it will show your true average and what you need to bowl to raise it one pin. (also other info)

It isn't too hard to calculate: (average +1)*(games+3)-current total pins. for -1 just switch the first portion to (average -1).
