My ball speed is similar to yours. For myself I would either go 60x4.5x35 or 145x5x30 to get you length with some good pop off the spot
I just purchased a "DV8 Hell Raiser Terror" bowling ball. I was wondering if anyone could give any tips on drilling this ball for a average bowler. I roll a smooth continuous curve with my Ebonite Pivot Point at about 13 to 14.8 mph and I would like the DV8 Hell Raiser to have a little more aggressive snap/flip at the end.
The Ebonite Pivot Point is drilled: PAP 4 1/4" X !/4" up
Pin to PAP 4"
Ball Speed: Slow
Style: Tweener

Hiya Stormed1...I was basically looking at A. 5 1/8 x 1/8 up, Pin to PAP 4 3/4, 50 x 4 3/4 x 40 So, can you tell me the difference I would see between the two drill patterns your suggestion= B. 60x4.5x35 or 145x5x30 to get you length with some good pop off the spot
Please give me more info in comparison of these two drilling patterns as to what I would expect to see from them.
A. 50 x 4 3/4 x 40
B. 60 x 4.5 x 35

Thanks to my fat fingers the second layout should have read 45x5x30. Of the 2 layouts you have listed , layout b should be slightly longer and more angular
