The Gods of Bowling visited me on this night out at the local lanes. Wife, myself and two adult kids hit the lanes bowling. I ask the guys bowling next to us before we started bowling, if one of them was rolling a Haywire, not, but they invited me to toss three different of their bowling balls down the lane, a Strike King, DV8 (didn't get the name) and a Storm Lock. OH the joy to throw down the lane a non house ball, and to have follow bowlers that enjoy the game to share. Well to finish this wonder off, after tossing my hose ball down the lane two frames, one of the guys brings me his Columbia 300 U-Turn, 15 lbs (he throws 13 lbs) and says he was gonna give this ball away and would like me to have it, I gladly accepted and risked offending him with offer of money, he declined and I bowled the best games yet and got to thank him before he left.
Well, research tells me this is a good practice ball and I'd love to add to my bag the Haywire to use a little bit down the line with League play. Hope to win.

Storm and Roto-Grip are different brand names from the same company.

The U turn should be quite a bit better than the house balls, I would guess those balls are around 10 years old. Good Luck !
