Nice shooting. Sometimes I find that when I struggle in practice I do better in the game, and vice versa.

    Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 201 - Couldn't string anything together. I was playing a lot deeper then I am used to and tugged a few shots.
Game 2: 203 - Tried to make my line from the first game work which was a mistake. Changed balls and moved right after the 6th frame.
Game 3: 246 - The line I played at the end of the second game held up for the 3rd and I was able to save my night.
Series: 650 - Another night where I tried to play a line I wasn't comfortable with and just wanted to make it work. Should have realized halfway through the first game that it wasn't going to work but I was to stubborn to stop trying.

    Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 220 - Started with the front 5 but the next two ball on the left lane were the 4-7-10 split and 6-7-10 split.
Game 2: 208 - Left the 4-7-10 again in the 3rd frame and the 4-9 in the 6th.
Game 3: 216 - Clean game just couldn't string anything together.
Series: 644 - Kept throwing my ball too far out and it would hit a dry spot and take off and go through the nose leaving me with splits. Not a bad night but the splits killed me the first two games. Team lost 3 of 4.

    Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 176 - Bad game. I tried to play a new line that was farther left then I am comfortable with because of how dry the lanes were and I just couldn't hit my mark. Went through the nose a lot and left 3 splits.
Game 2: 234 - Switched to the Rage Remix and moved a little right and threw it harder and it worked. Should have started with that but I wanted to try something new.
Game 3: 198 - Went through the nose twice and left the 4-9 and 4-10. Left a couple 10 pins and just couldn't string anything together.
Series: 608 - It was just an off night and besides the second game nothing felt right in my release. Team won 3 of 4 so I didn't really hurt the team.

    Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 276 - The lanes were pretty dry so I had to throw my ball around 18.5mph when I usually throw 17. Left a 10 pin in the 5th and 7 count on my last ball.
Game 2: 245 - 7 count in the 5th and 10 pin in the 9th and on the last ball of the 10th
    Game 3: 209 - Started 8 pin, split, 8 pin, 3 in a row. After that I couldn't carry 10.
Series: 730 - It was a good night. I had a line that I was comfortable playing and I knew I could consistently hit my mark. Team won all 4 but we are still in the middle of the pack in the standings. Hopefully we can start making some moves in the next couple weeks.

    Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 170 - My release was really inconsistent and i kept throwing it out to far and it wouldn't come back. Finally fixed it in the tenth.
Game 2: 289 - Threw my 11th ball a little fast and came in light leaving the 7 pin. Everyone stopped bowling when I was in the 10th which I hate and it might have gotten to me a little bit.
Game 3: 201 - Couldn't carry 10 in the first half of the game and chopped the 6 off of the 6-10 in the 9th.
Series: 660 - Not a bad series but the first game really hurt. As a team we split and are 4 games out of first.

That's one of the advantages to the league I'm in. Seems like everyone but myself has a 300 games (or multiple). No one stops bowling just because another guy is on one.

    • Very nice game BrianG.
    • I like when everyone gives lane courtesy after the first 8 or 9 in a row. It then is down to the bowler, his ball and his shot making.
    • Monday, I had the courtesy after the front 8, and in the 9th hit light and left the 6 sawed off in the gutter with the top of the pin still on the lane in front of the 10 pin that was still standing.
    • The headpin wrapped off the left sidewall, came rolling across the lane and T-boned the top of the downed 6 pin, without dropping the 10 pin.
    • Of course, I smashed the 10th, three times for a 279. My point is, I liked the courtesy, and your league mates were trying to help you in your attempt to get a 300.
    • Next time you will likely succeed.

Yea I understand what your saying Blacksox and I do appreciate the courtesy but after I threw my 10th ball and went back to the ball return I looked up and everyone in the league was behind my lanes and that's what threw me off a little. I knew I should have just kept my head down but for some reason I looked up. In my other leagues there are higher average bowlers so no one stops bowling if someone is going for it. That's a rough way to leave a 10 pin to break up a 300. It always seems like you need one lucky break to shoot a 300.

    Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 258 - Three in a row, 9 pin, Four in a row, 10 pin, Struck out.
Game 2: 267 - Weak 10 pin in the first frame, 8 in a row, went threw the nose and left the 6-10 first ball in the 10th then a 10 pin last ball.
Game 3: 204 - The left lane dried up pretty bad and I left three 4 pins on that lane. Missed a 10 pin and just couldn't string anything together.
Series: 729 - It was a really good night. Everything off of my hand felt good but I didn't make the correct adjustments in the 3rd game. My team won 3 of 4 and we are 2 games out of first.
