I don't see how eye dominance matters with respect to bowling. As far as targeting is concerned, I can't look directly at the arrows with any bowling success. When I do, I hit my mark but the angles are off. I need to focus down lane where at the apex point. I am aware of the arrows in my periphery vision, but it's not my primary focus. IE...if going for a 7 or 10 pin. I generally shoot the gap between arrows with best success and make sure my setup will give me the correct angle down to the corner pin. Just a thought....
I'm left-eye dominant and right-handed. It never bothered my targeting in bowling. It did when shooting with no sights on my bow and both eyes open.
I use the Arrows but go by actual boards between them. Last nights league though my scores where lower then normal my targeting was much more accurate. By moving my target 3 boards to the right I was putting the ball right where I wanted it. Normally I would face a lot of through the nose splits last night just one! Had a bunch of missed single 10s but that will come with practice. Thanks for the advice guys it works well I believe I will see so progress now

Since I bowl from a wheel chair I don't deal with approach I just make sure my chair is lined up. I use a hole in the center of my foot plate lined up to a specific board and target with boards at the arrows. I was missing left about 90% of the time. I got so aggravated with myself wondering why I missed what I was looking at so often. Then I tried the moving my "sighted" target right 3 boards and wow what a difference so yes it matters to me anyway. Last night was a good test but we were on really burned up lanes can't wait to try this out on Monday with fresh oil.

I am also right handed but left eye dominant. I haven't noticed it being an issue for me to the extent that other physical factors are when it comes to accuracy though.
I am also a left eye dominant right hander and I do struggle shooting the ten pin and when I move left to increase my angles when the lanes break down. My misses are usually to the left though so it may be affecting me but I just didn't know better. I'm going to try and start targeting further down the lane and see if that helps me.
