One great game and 2 blah games

A 20 year old kid shot a 300 game a couple of lanes down from us the other night, it was his middle game and was end capped by a 175 and a 130 for a 605 series and it looked like he was going to miss the 600 until he struck in the 10th of game 3. He has about a 200 average but just fell apart after getting his first 300 game.
Whats the lowest series you've seen with a 300 game ?

I hate that people this bad have been luckier than I have and shot 300....

My teammate last week struck all the way until his last ball he left a 10 pin. The following game he bowled a 125. Couldn't get out of his own head after just missing the 300

It's too bad he didn't get the 800 after such awesome games, but still back to back 300's is quite an outstanding feat !

Saw a 220 avg guy shoot 168-300-300. First and only time our center had one bowler shoot two 300s in the same series (est 1962)
Saw another guy go 134-140-300. He is a 160 bowler who got too drunk to get nervous in the tenth.
