Description: The Jackal Carnage is the newest release in the Jackal line. It uses the Predator core along with a new Coercion XFS reactive coverstock. This coverstock is at 3000 grit LSS out of the box. This asymmetric core has an RG of 2.46 and a diff of .060 for the 15lb version.

Comments: The Jackal Carnage is designed to be used in heavy oil conditions. The Carnage is very strong and has more hook potential then the original Jackal. For me, the Carnages read the lane approx 5-10 feet earlier then the Jackal along with a much smoother motion into the pins. This ball provides more hook and control then the Jackal. I was able to stand about 7 boards left with my feet targeting a full zone left when using it compared to the Jackal. I can see this ball being my first option on fresh, heavy/longer tournament patterns. If you have a lower rev rate this ball will provide you the ability to play in the oil longer and not have to deal with the over/under of the friction.

Summary: Motiv continues to produce some of the strongest hitting balls on the market. The lineup offers a variety of ball motions for all types of players. The Carnage reads the lane early, controls the zone, and finishes through the pins. It’s an excellent choice on higher volume patterns.
