Wouldn't you expect the ball to exit right of the 8-9, if you just left a bucket?
The ball going into the pins is far more informative, than the ball going out of the pins.
Keep your elbow in and straight to your body
I have always found that telling a team mate to strike or we will loose the game for sure. Now that always loosens the arm swing.
