 REACTION

The Jackal Carnage has a unique motion that allows it to be used on a wide variety of conditions. The aggressive Coercion coverstock provides control in the mid-lane read and continuation through the pins. The Motiv staffers at the WSOB primarily used the Carnage on the fresh for ALL FOUR animal patterns. With patterns ranging from 35'-47' in length, it shows just how versatile the Carnage truly is.

 COMPARISONS

The Jackal Carnage sits alone at the top of the chart. This ball is stronger than everything else in the line. In my video I compared the Carnage to the Revolt Havoc, Primal Rage Remix, and the original Jackal. The Carnage was easily 5+ boards stronger than the original Jackal, Primal Rage Remix, and 7-8+ boards stronger than the Revolt Havoc.
Motion wise, once again the Carnage sits alone. The original Jackal and Remix both read further down lane and respond faster to friction but provide less overall hook. The Havoc starts earlier than the Carnage and provides significantly less hook. The Carnage

 SUMMARY

Right now I have two Jackal Carnage's. I have a pin down (75° x 4.5" x 75°), and a pin up (65° x 4.125" x 50°). The pin down Carnage is about 3-4 boards stronger than my pin up. It reads the lane a little earlier and still provides it's signature control and continuation. I have used them both on several different sport conditions (2013 USBC Masters pattern, 41' 1.5:1 ratio sport pattern, 35' Cheetah, 47' Scorpion). The Carnage does a great job of keeping you out of trouble on tighter patterns due to the control it provides. I usually prefer symmetrical cores but this ball is something different. If you want a ball that can read the lane in slop and be used on a WIDE variety of conditions, pick up a Jackal Carnage.
