I use the Buddies Blue Shammy, just like the Storm/Master ones but cheaper. Got my brother one for his birthday and he has used it 2 nights now and can tell the difference between that and a microfiber towel.
    Equipment:
Motiv: Forza, Forza Redine, Venom Shock, Tag
    Storm: Sky Rocket

I got the blue bowlingball.com one, which looks the same as the blue Storm shammy and a bit cheaper too! (Also got the BB.com Monster Microfiber pads which look suspiciously like the That Purple Stuff pad only smaller.)

Can't wait to try it, I'm going to have to interrupt my current cleaner test (Alcohol vs Simple Green/Alcohol mix sneakpeek: SG/AL not as good as you think), to test it out.
That should be interesting. 50/50 Iso Alcohol and Simple Green is my go to right now. I did read somewhere that doing simple green and alcohol separately is actually more effective.

$9.95 on their site but $12 shipping kills it though

I don't order unless I am spending over $50 for the free shipping. That would just be stupid. I will never pay shipping for this stuff, as I just purchase cleaner, tape, soles and other things. 3 to 4 orders from buddies a year, and at times I am ordering for multiple people. My last order was basically $40 in tape for me and my brother plus a shammy.

I use an Autozone microfiber towel which I don't think that I paid more than $5 for. I have a few of them that I rotate thru. I use one for wiping the ball off between shots, and the other to apply ball cleaner.

I used a handful of different microfiber and one of the leather storm pads really save the money and use the microfiber it works almost the same just faster. The pad hangs up on the ball when your trying to do a fast roll over in your hand.

"fast roll over in your hand" you mean holding the towel in one hand and spinning the ball on it?

That's the bowler's version of a gunfighter twirling the gun on his finger. It's all for show, That's not cleaning the ball.

The tackiness of the leather is what makes it effective, That's why you wipe the ball with it.

Even with a microfiber towel, you should wipe the oil off and not depend on spinning the ball in the palm of your hand to do the oil removal properly.

O I was under the impression that a hand full of spins in my track like that would get the oil off ha ha ha.
