Default How many 2 handers or 1 handed thumbless guys in your leagues

In my two leagues I have participated in so far there has only been one 2 hander and a couple cranker thumbless guys. Surprised not to see more 2 handers though since it is the flavor of the month (or year).

I for one am all for doing whatever you need to do to get strikes. Heck, I might dabble in 2 handed sometime in the near future so I can at least bowl if I don't have my ball with me.

In my men's league, a few thumbless but no 2 handers. In my mixed league there are no thumbless and two 2 handers - but both have a pretty unconventional 2 handed release in that they don't have much in terms of revs

There are no two handers across any league at the place where I primarily bowl.

However, we do have a few thumbless guys who cannot control the ball as the lanes break down. They typically start out with a game of 215 plus, and go down with each consecutive game.

That said, there was an outlier a couple of weeks ago. A guy on my team, thumbless and doesn't even know how many boards are on the lane, threw a 725 series with a 279 game. He had never bowled more than 225 for a single game, or had ever gotten a 600 previously. His game and series are good enough for second best in our league all season.

I bowl with some of both I only know of a couple of two handers who I consider talented that are dangerous regardless of condition but they do exist. I really only know of one thumbless bowler who I consider to be above average. Generally the younger the league is the more two handers and thumbless bowler you will see.

We have one thumbless bowler that is quite good and then
we have a two hander that I like to call the spray can man
because he can never hit the same mark twice he just sprays
the ball out onto the lane and hopes for the best.

Just one two hander, however there are several thumbless - only a couple that are any good. The others seem to just want to spin the crap out of the ball because it looks impressive in their mind.

No 2 handers in any league I've been in, so far. I do see a few practicing at the center, on occasion though. They look to be pretty good.
I have bowled in leagues w/ more than 1 thumbless too. Most have no real control and struggle with spare shooting but every once in awhile they will get in the zone and shoot some high scores.

Just 1 2 hander in my leagues, young punk kid who thinks everything should fall down for him. Stomps and flips the bird at the 10 pin when he leaves it standing.

Do have a couple high rev thumbless bowlers. As someone else mentioned. They get a good game every once in awhile, but can't keep up with transition.

No two handers or thumbless bowlers in my Weds Night league, I have seen a two hander practicing at my center. Nice enough kid but not very good. His ball speed is too slow for a 2 handed style, if I would guess he's throwing it about 13-14mph and he can't control the hook.

Our center has 3 1/2 two-handers. Two are pretty good with one of them being a total head case. Worst mental game of any 230+ bowler I've ever seen. The third is a brother to the second. They started in high school because they couldn't generate any revs. Now this third one has revs but still no speed. The last one, the 1/2, is me. I only do one league two-handed.
I will never bowl exclusively with one style or one hand. I feel this gives me a better understanding of what each style is battling against first hand.

In youth leagues: 1 left-handed two hander in high school another that is 10 years old. Also have another two around the same age that are right-handed two handers.

I forgot, we have a female, two-hander that throws a back up ball. To say her form and ball look horrible is an understatement. Makes me want to vomit every Wednesday evening having to watch while working.
