Default Advice from the right person....

Last night I Learned what my biggest issue in bowling is. My PSO happened to be standing behind me when I released my ball during one of the frames in our last league game of the night and he said to me your burning your ball up and ruining your carry. I asked what he meant by that and he pointed out I was keeping the ball too much in the dry and not allowing it to rev up. He explained I needed to be around the 5 board at the breakpoint not at the arrows . I started aiming in the area of the 5 board at the breakpoint and wow what a difference. The ball revved up and hit harder. Says a ton about taking lessons. Expecting a big change over the next few practice sessions. You really can teach an old dog new tricks
Roto Grip Sinister, Storm 2Fast, Roto Grip Haywire, Storm Joy Ride, Storm Phase, Storm Sky Rocket, Storm Mix, 14#equipment..Disabled bowler bowl from a wheel chair.

    Sounds like a good PSO!

I see that you're located in central Florida. I'm not entirely sure where, but I have a friend who lives near Ocala and swears by RSW Pro Shop in Lady Lake.

It's amazing how one tip like that can help you understand so much more about the game. Through this board, I've learned so much about the game since I "came back". It's helped me tremendously.

You just called the man out! Rob takes helping his customer to the next level. I know of none better in this area as a matter of fact RSW Pro Shop is our team name. I met Rob during league one Tuesday night I was having a problem of dropping the ball a lot. Rob took one look at my grip and could tell I had a problem with the span and pitch the next week he slugged and re-drilled 5 balls for me.
