That is a tough question for me, since I think Hammer makes some of the best equipment out there today. The Cherry Vibe is my favorite ball, and it is much stronger than advertised. It goes very long and is very angular, and it has not lost any reaction since the day I bought it, which was the day it was publicly released. It can't be passed up for its price tag.

Sometimes that great price can be a great thing when it comes to buying bowling balls

I will have to second that. Lately I have been struggling with my new ball (The One) and brought out 'ole faithful and she seems to get the job done every time. It just seems to know how to roll off the fingers.

I have a Cherry Vibe, and I really like it... My husband has The One Pearl, and he has been struggling with it too.. I thought about buying him a Hammer ball for our Anniversary..

    Thumbs up Hammer Acid

I've had the Acid for 3-4 weeks and have found it's backend to be great!!! I'm averaging in the 220's for the 20+ plus sanctioned games I've rolled with it. The major problem I am having is the 8-pin leaves. I hate creaming the pocket and leaving an 8 pin. It stinks.
Love the ball and would recommend it to anyone.
