By definition....she's not friendly. She's spent a lifetime swatting horny men away like flys...it's bound to set in over time as a personality trait.

And before the proverbial panties are proverbally "in a bunch"...name me one unattractive female bowler that is "unapproachable". Exactly.

If I were better looking...and a pro bowler...I'd be less approachable. Approachability is an inverse relationship to attractiveness/fame. Our entire society is based on that premise.

I don't consider her hot by any means. And I didn't see any of the other women there having much to do with her either.

And I had to deal with many women at the USBC Queens with their computer scoring issues, ball returns, pin settings, scoring and certification sheets, and she was the only one who was not personable or even thankful for what we had done.

Even Kelly Kulick (who I also think is unattractive) was very good about it when there was a temporary blackout on her lane. I apologized for the time consumption and she was far from having an attitude about it. She was not only polite, but quite talkative while we waited for the lane to come back on. (I was required to stay in the bowlers area until the issue was resolved)

And all of the others that I had interacted with were pretty darn good as well. Good and not good looking.

Just as they are professionals in the sport of bowling, I had to have a professional demeanor as an official of the USBC and will always do so when asked to be a part of a tournament.

The quotes or statements you make are way off line, and not every male is there to attempt to get into some other woman's pants. I, for one, have a wife to takes very good care of me and I have no need to look for anything else.

I speak about her from my own interactions with her, and while she's a dam good bowler, I would rather try to converse with a rattlesnake than her.

So please, tell us about your interactions with her. Maybe you had a better experience than I did, but odds are you didn't.

Danielle McEwan..............had a student go to Arlington. Several of the women from team USA were there practicing. After they were done this young lady would go and ask questions especially about the mental game. All were helpful except...Danielle. That is until this girl told her, "Even if you are hands down the best in the world, that doesn't give you the right to be a ***** and treat the fans like crap."
Danielle still emails her at least once a month and was texting her several times a week during the high school season. While it is a flaw of hers, I don't think it is intentional.
As for her friends, she still has Marshall Kent.

Some people have to lock themselves into a frame of mind to be competitive and some of those same people have difficulties turning that switch on and off. Could be the case here or maybe she really is just an A$$ but she is a great bowler. I believe she is also a coach at one of the universities that has had some success so at least in some way she is giving back to the game.

You could be very right in this assessment, but here's my take on it. Its only my opinion, but I don't think it's far off by any means.

As bowlers, we watch these people quite often in person (when possible) and on TV. Many people out here will buy the same equipment that all of our favorite pros have just to say they have the same thing whether it fits their game or not. That's really the way the equipment is marketed and they take advantage of it.

Because of this, followers of Pro Bowlers would like to have some sort of positive interaction with them when the sometimes rare opportunities exist.

Yes, we can participate in the Pro Ams to bowl with them to heighten the experience and there are many pros who love being involved in the Pro Am, because they understand how much money is invested in what is really a hobby for us non pros, and yet spend even more money to attend televised stepladder finals. (PBA charges, PWBA does not).

They also recognize that we would certainly like to be in their position, and by giving back a little time to be with the "little guys" doesn't hurt them at all and helps with having good public relations that most certainly helps with thinking they are still human beings and can be with the non pros.

This isn't just limited to pro bowlers. It encompasses every pro athlete out there.

Just out of curiosity, what happened during your encounter with danielle mcewan that made you dislike her so much and was it in a practice session or during competition?

My encounter with her was when her squad had completed for that particular day of qualifying.

I was taking their score sheets and she darn near threw them my way, like it was either a major issue for her or that she was beyond handing them in. She was the only one who didn't smile and say thank you. And I did this for both squads that day.

These sheets have their scores and list of balls that were used with the USBC number on them and their signatures. Each sheet has to have 2 signatures on them as well.
