Default Anyone else have hand swelling issues?

I've been having issues this summer with my bowling hand swelling during league play. Doesn't always happen, but when it does, it stops me from playing. Today I was in my instructional league. We practice for a half hour, then bowl two games on a THS, and two games on a sport pattern. I bowled two practice games on the house shot, then bowled tow games that counted on the THS. I averaged 210 with two clean games.
The whole time during league play I could feel my hand swelling. I kept fighting to get out of the ball. Then we switched lanes to the sport shot (Middle of the Road ) and I threw two frames for a total of 15 pins and packed up my equipment and left. I brought 6 balls with me and couldn't use any of them. Some I fit the thumb but no fingers, others I couldn't fit anything at all.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what could help it. Thanks.

I have never had a ball fitted to my hand that was that tight. As far as I know there should always be room for a piece of tape so if you swell you can remove the tape and still fit. You can find a thumb slug 1 size smaller and keep it on your thumb between shots it will help reduce the swelling.

My thumb would always do this switched over to the Vise ITS and problem solved, but what your saying sounds like your whole hand. So one thing that stands out is you had some balls that the thumb would not fit and some that the fingers would not. Do you have the same size finger grips in every all?

All the finger grips are the same size but Vise grips aren't held to the tightest tolerances during production. I've cherry-picked the grips I have just to get the most reliable fit, but some of those grips you have to pound in a ball, others just slip in. Same hole.
Hand just kept swelling tonite. Middle finger was pretty much ok but ring finger was bad. Thumbs on some balls are a little bigger than other balls. I just don't have the money to go to switch-grips on the thumb. Too many balls for that.

I haven't had them swell so bad I can't get in but I also don't use super tight grips. Another thing I have is my finger holes are drilled with vacu grips so there is room for swelling

Have your local pro shop check your grip. My friend has the same problem and his thumb hole was too big and the pitch was wrong and that made him grip to hold the ball. It made both his thumb and fingers swell.

I have this issue during the summer all the time with the thumb not so much on the fingers. I have all of my thumb holes drilled that I can put a minimum of three pieces of tape in them so I can adjust it. It's pretty rare that I have to remove all three pieces I also use the Vise Bowlers tape that goes directly on the thumb which has helped also.

this is common for me. My hand has to remain cold, literally, so i don't swell. I haven't swelled to the point of not being able to get in the ball, but if need be i use a little easy slide. A friend of my has a theory that the towel you use to wipe your ball off, has something to do with the swelling.
