    Default Summer Leagues

So how do you approach summer leagues?

    1) skip summer leagues
    2) work on new things for winter leagues
    3) just like winter league, after all it's still league.

Personally I usually skip the summer leagues. I do a lot of tournaments over the summer and usually try to sub at various houses once to twice a week.

    Well....

I may not be your target audience for this post as the summer league I am bowling in is the first league I have bowled in since I was a teenager.

For me, the summer league was a great way to get into league bowling as I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting into too serious or intense of a league when I was just getting back into the game. Plus I got a "free" Storm Snap Lock for participating :-)

He summer league that I'm in isn't too serious, no big money, actually you don't win money. It's a $10 a week fee for 12 weeks. It's at a center that I don't bowl regularly at during fall. I. Taking the league as a warmup for fall. Working on things and trying out different balls. If. Shoot poorly, don't let it get to me.

Hmmmm. I'm bowling my usual two non-certified summer leagues. Both are four person teams. First three of us are on both teams (two of my clients).
Tuesday's is 9-pin no tap where we get lottery tickets. It's just a fun night for us to prepare for
Wednesday's PBA experience league. I enjoy seeing the other two get mad when I beat them. They both out average me on a house shot the last two years. She is 18 and he is 20 so there was a point when I did average higher, like before they got really good.
