Well tonight was rough for sure. Spare shooting killed me early.

Weekly tournament. Luckily I'm still sitting 2nd in points for the summer and looking good for the end of summer big money tournament.

New shot this week. 40' med volume.

    233-190-224-190

First game 10 strikes and 2 pocket 7-10 SMH. Started 2nd game back to back splits then a single pin miss late.

Shot the Ocala Mixed Open yesterday in the team event. Went 230-289-215 to help put the team into 2nd place after yesterday. Waiting to see where we fall after today. Struggles of bringing basically a scratch team to a handicap tournament lol

Over all for the day the splits were killers all around. The shot was very dry outside and very little hold area inside. I started the laying the ball down at 30 with a breakpoint of around 4. By the end of the 3rd game I was standing the gutter cap playing 39 to the same breakpoint.

I did pick up the big 4 in the second frame of the 3rd game though lol

Bowled in the Palm Coast Baker Trio tournament today. As a whole we had a fairly solid day, but had a few bad breaks which ultimately kept us out of the top 5 cut. We took a solid team and will be going back for sure. Finished 8th by the end of the day. Busy week this week with 2 league nights (normal league and subbing) plus a doubles tournament Friday morning.

    Deland Baker Trio

We threw the ball well today aside from couple hiccups in game 5 & 6. After 9 games of qualifying we were seeded 4th in the roll off. We then bowl 2 games in the stepladder with total count advancing. We threw 247 & 278 to advance to bowl the 2nd place team. Second round we throw 268 & 216 to get knocked out. Good day over all and can't complain.

Bowled a youth/adult doubles 2 weeks ago and shot 801 while my youth partner shot 698 for us to secure 1st by 80 pins.

This past weekend I went to Mississippi to bowl the Double Diamond Invitational and didn't shoot near as good as i should have but atleast there were casinos lol 719-590-575

I will say the approaches at that tournament were the worst approaches I have ever bowled on. They buffed them prior to bowling and they were so slick that even my usually 2 sole and 2 heel was sliding. The picture below is my combo I ended up using. Yes that's a traction sole from my non slide foot as a "slide" sole.
