My black ball cracked before my other ball. OH WAIT. That was in the 70's and all my balls were black.

My 2 tone green T Zone was cracking all around the outside of my thumb slug. Replaced at no cost.

Will it crack more.....the length, width and depth of the crack has more to do with the heating and cooling of the internals against the cover and it's these properties along with cover thickness that will determine how much it cracks.

But being an uneducated troll I'm sure you meant more often. Which would be an interesting question. Black is the absence of color, the removal of the color pigmentation. The patent for doing so, for basically making the color black, is held by Cabot Corporation. Now while they won't get into the science of how this is performed for millions of companies across the world I'm sure somebody there knows if the process can cause a bowling ball to crack more often than one that doesn't have the pigmentation removed.

I've had a red bowling ball crack wide open a green ball crack wide open
and a black ball crack wide open all the way around the balls you could
    see the cores in them.

I'm not sure if just being a black ball would make it crack before one
with different colors in it would crack or not.
