Technically, you add up all of your scores from the games you bowled, and then divide by the number of games bowled. As the season progresses, you continue adding the scores you've bowled and divide by the continually growing number of games.
A 33 week season would have you add up your total pinfall and then divide by 99 games, as long as you showed up every week and were bowling 3-game sets, which is the norm.
