Four weeks ago, I threw a 295. The next week, I threw a 289. I have more respect for that 289 then the 295. At least that 11th ball was solid, not through the 3 pin.....

Absolutely! Shot 296 few weeks back was the best game of the night however I threw the ball so poorly throughout and finally paid for it on the last ball that left me more pissed then the first 2 games combined.

196/236/143 = 575. I hate lanes 3-4. Shot was tight in the first game, but made due. Two opens killed that game. Line got better in the second, but still had two opens. Third game the wheels flew off. Didn't seem to matter where I put the ball, it wasn't going to hit. Everything went high or low. It was like playing on an overnight burn. Couple that with 4 missed spares, and you get what you deserve. Only two of the eight misses on the night were splits. All the rest were single pin whiffs. I have not been that out-of-sorts in some time, and I didn't like it. Average drops back to 219.

Pretty good night.

218/277/189 = 684. Had a decent shot all night. Game 1 was a story of carry. Left a bunch of single pins. Ran 9 to start game 2. Ball #10 felt good off my hand, but just didn't come up, and left the 2-4-5. Game 3 was a lot like 1. Didn't read the transition, and got caught off guard on the first three balls, but made the spares. What irked me was the pocket 7-10 in the 4th, which cost me a 30-clean night, and likely a 700 series. I got away with more bad shots than I'd care to admit tonight. Average stays at 219.

Not horrible on a night I didn't even want to bowl.

182/202/266 = 650. Managed to pick up this cold/flu/crud that's been going around, but had to bowl because no sub available. Struck every ball on lane 2 in game 1, and opened the first 4 on lane one. A head full of snot and cold pills does not lead to great balance. Very tight line the first two games that went wide open in the 3rd. Hope the crud goes way soon, I hate being sick. Average stays 219.

Tuesday league score. Nice, steady night.

239/216/233 = 688. Really only one bad ball all night, and it was my only open frame (4-6-7). Biggest shift I've had to do all year, going left about 8 boards from start to finish. If I had to bowl a 4th game, it would've been trouble. Average back to 220.

One week left, and then we get two weeks off. Almost think they should do this every year....

Rough night. Never felt comfortable in my own shoes.

193/183/201 = 577. 6 opens on the night, all of them splits, including one ridiculous pocket 7-10. Never found any kind of rhythm. Couldn't sustain strings (longest on the night was three). Didn't miss any make-able spares, but the splits were the killer. 3 times I had to stop after the second step and reset, my timing was so off. We get two weeks off now, and it couldn't be better timed. Average drops to 218.

Yep. Same here for me last night. Lanes dried up quick and just couldn't figure it out. Played outside and left 7's. Moved inside and left splits. Moved out to adjust and hit light. To top it off I missed most of my spares. Worst night for me in months but we have 2 weeks off now too so hoping to get my head straight before then.
