Had to be transition. My second games are usually my worst because the lanes start transitioning mid Game 1 through Game 2.

Better night. steady, eventful, and another 29 clean.
225c/201/234c = 660. For the 3rd time in 5 weeks, we were on 15-16 (position week). Able to control the shot with the Venom, until 6th frame of game 2. Got a little grabby at the bottom, and voila, the big 4. Only blemish on the night. After the 1st frame of game 3, a pin flew into the belts on 15, and jammed, causing the motor to overheat. We got shuttled down to 7-8, which a total of 3 people had bowled on all night. Threw the Venom, left a 1-2-4-10 wash (made it), grabbed the AI, and rocked it from there. Had to move 8-10 boards right to adjust for the lane change. 9 10-pins on the night, which puts me at 98 of 106 made so far in just half the season. One of these days I'm gonna hit that 30-clean number. Average stays 210.

I've hit it twice. The fact that I've done 29 clean now at least a half dozen times this season is frustration.

Monday's scores. Nothing worked, until it did.
192c/191/246c = 629. Started game 1 with 5 9-counts in a row before seeing a strike. Only 2 more after that. Game 2 was much the same, with only 3 strikes, and then a baffling 5-7 split leave in the 10th that blew up my shot at 30 clean. Didn't change much of anything in the 3rd, but everything work. Why? I don't know. Only 4 10-pins on the night (made all). Every shot touched the pocket, just would not go down. This is now 6 or 7 29-clean nights this season. Really getting fed up with not closing this out. Average stays 210.

Frustrating? Yes.
But a 246 with a couple of 190s isn't bad...especially with all the corner pins you had to convert. Good Job!!
Another meh night.
225/172/219c = 616. never had to worry about 30 clean tonight. Opened game 1 with a 2-4-10. Picked it up after that. Game 2 was a nightmare. Still had the Venom on, but should've switched to the AI. Picked that up too late to save this one. 2 splits and a whiffed 10 pin (made 5 or 6 on the night). Switched to the AI at the start of the 3rd, and it went well. It's frustrating enough with the way this place is set up some days, but missing when i should've balled up or down drives me nuts. Average stays 210.
Next week we have to bowl what everyone in the league is now calling the "a**hole" team. Yay.....
