Really gotta love new ball nights.

221/238/248 = 707. Can't begin to say enough about how smooth the Typhoon was. Nice, even curl, super forgiving, but still hits like a truck. Still had 2 opens (a richly un-deserved 7-9, and whiffed a 10 pin), but tons of strikes made up for that. Made 7 of 8 10-pins. Average back up to 208.

We'll see what kind of stamina I have, as I have to prebowl Wednesday after work. Bringing the Shadow with just in case.

Back at it after a week off.

244/248/194 = 686. Another stellar night with the new Typhoon. Last game was frustration, and one errant shot cost me 700, the game, and 30 clean. Missed the 10-pin in frame 29....

Like where I'm going with the new ball. Average stays 208.

All good things come to an end. Especially if you're on 9/10....

192/215/171 = 578. Started with the Typhoon, but made a quick decision to the Venom. Pretty sure it was the right move, but just couldn't get carry. Game 1 was clean, but only 3 strikes. Game two had 7 strikes, but I whiffed a 7-pin. Game three had me in the pocket on every shot, but left a 4-5 (damn near made), and an inexplicable 4-7-10 (not even close). No one on the pair could wrap their heads around that last split, other than it may have wanted to be a pocket 7-10, and the 4 decided to hang around. Not the night I was looking forward to after the previous 2 outings. I will come back. Average still stays 208.
