Nice way to finish. 259/240/202 = 701. Two opens off of a bad move starting the second game were the only blemish on the night. Lanes got really weird the last game, but managed to keep it clean. Final average for the season is 215.011! Next week is sweeper, and we're finished.

Last week, sweeper. 188/258/200 = 646. One pin over average will not win you money in the sweeper. Timing off first game, and I kept sending shots wide, which made for some entertaining splits. Rattled 7 straight in the second game. Last game just got plain tired. Last two games clean. Gonna take a few weeks off to let things heal up a bit. You know, when I was a kid, it would've been right off to summer leagues. Getting old is not pretty.....

Saturday practice--

200/179/181 = 560

Lots of screwing around on a pair that hadn't been oiled since Thursday. Didn't even bother pulling out the Black Widow. Used the polished IQ Nano all day. Brother and I spent the day just seeing what would happen making moves. Kinda fun. Could tuck it in and run it over third and hold a pretty tight line, or move waaaay left, throw for the 5 board, and watch it come screaming back, if not actually cross. played a little bit with backswing, but still giving me timing issues. Really humid here the past few day, so three games lit my elbow up pretty good.

I'd consider that move myself, except there's a good 4 months there that's pretty unbearable, too. I've learned to ignore it for the most part. The humidity, coupled with not having thrown in a month, was just a bit much. Had I stayed in practice, I'd have probably been okay.

Saturday open bowl.

183/246/236 = 665. Went to a house I'd never been to in the area. Kid behind the counter said they hadn't been oiled since Thursday. You could not tell. Lanes played slick and long. Eventually settled in to going around 7 down and in, and letting the Black Widow eat. Second game was 6 off the start until I tugged the s**t out of #7. If this was a constant pattern somewhere, I'd have to ball up.
