Not a bad start! Once you get comfortable with the new release and Get the muscle memory there, you won't have to hyper focus on it as much and your games should become more consistent.
Week one trying out a new approach and release as directed by my first coaching session.
Last year averaged 186.
Game 1: 225 first six were god awful but struck the last 5 and the 6th left a 10
Game 2: 173 started to dry out, need to practice single pin spares with this new release.
Game 3: 169 started to get tired stopped focusing on my release.
I'm not really going to complain, averaging 3 pins over last year week 1 with all the changes I'm trying to get used to.
Rolling: Storm Snap Lock, Track Kinetic Emerald, Columbia 300 Freeze, and Pyramid Path Spare

Nice start to the season!!
Awesome. It'll be up and down until you get fully comfortable but you'll be better for it in the long run.
Keep up the good work and the new approach will just start to come natural
and you won't even have to think about it.

Week 2 keeping it going with the consistency.
Game 1: 202
Game 2: 188
Game 3: 185
Didn't string any more than 2 strikes together in any game so I can only see this going up as I continue progressing with this new approach and release.
