    Default Dead flat pins.

Do dead pins make for easier strikes. I am starting to think the pins at my local house have no pop to them!

Dead flat bottom pins.......example new pins with flat bottoms will make it
a lot more difficult to get a strike. Now as for older pins some may have a
rounded off bottom to them making it easier to get a strike.

If they have just replaced the pins then it will seem like they have no pop
to them until they are broken in which takes a little while.

A truly "dead" pin will usually have cracks and no real pop to them. New pins sound different but it's the true flat bottoms that inhibit unearned carry.

My house got new pins and they slide over and still stand up on some shots, it's funny and it sucks...lol
