In 42 years of bowling, I have never had a guy on my pair hit a 300. Unfortunately, that includes yours truly......
Just curious how many of you have bowled against a guy who rolled a 300 ?
Just wondering how often that happens, in the last 3 weeks where we bowl a 3 man league with head to head scoring I have bowled against 2 guys that rolled a 300 game and both of them ended up close to 800 against me and I'm bowling lead-off. So far this season there are just 2 300 games, and I was lucky enough to be bowling against both of them!

I've never had one thrown against me in head to head scoring, but I've had two thrown against the team in team score formats. When the first one happened, my team lost the game, when the second happened my team won the game because the rest of the 300 bowler's team mates bowled poorly. LOL

I've had one thrown against me. In fact, the guy ended up throwing an 830+ (don't remember exactly), by far his highest series ever and from what he said his first 300.
I bowled in an almost scratch Doubles League during the summer of 2015. One night we bowled against Johnny Petraglia Jr. and his wife. Not only did John shoot 300 one game and over 1100 for four, his wife also beat him one or two games. We didn't see many points that night! LOL

during this past summer in a scratch match play league
the other team's anchor threw a 300 in the first game, our anchor threw a 267

Bowled against a guy who went 300-300-245. We swept them. His team couldn't believe they lost.
In 1981 Tustin Lanes, Tustin, CA. Guy named Jim Tilton who was a PBA member flushed all twelve shots, just a real nice game. Needless to say I lost the point that game. Lanes were oiled gutter to gutter like they were back then.
