Thumbs up Back after my 9 month layoff

I'm 50 lbs lighter (haven't been this ripped since my college bodybuilding days, although I'm not nearly as big), and possibly still a surgery or two away from being "pain free" if such a thing exists after 40. But most importantly, my current average is 194 - I was at 166 with one working ankle/foot before I was forced into "retirement" early in the year, so that is quite a jump.

And yes I just established last week (was still healing so I missed the first two weeks), so it's very likely I'll come back down to earth tonight, but I'm gonna enjoy the fact that I improved my average 28 pins by simply not touching a bowling ball at all for 3/4 of a year

In all seriousness it's gonna be very hard to relax tonight, thanks to my reverse sandbagging I'll most likely hurt the team quite a bit after I helped them scoop all 4 pts last week for the first time since before I was injured

Yeah, once you break 40, pain-free doesn't exist.

I must not have had the right surgery yet, because when I come back my avg is the same or lower, I'm going to ask the Doc about the bowling improvement surgery ! Glad to see you back !
