How many read this and laughed. I've seen better form during cosmic bowling than some videos that have been submitted for critique. Seen a ton worse too. But for this to come from a person with a "unique" style is hilarious.

I love league play but started getting into bowling due to late night "glow bowl" it can be a gateway, my friends and I would bowl every weekend for years. Than one day we all just split into teams and joined a men's league that had been around for a long time. I'm ok with it and think that it has a place. I know what it's like to enjoy this sport on both sides of that fence. If you want to do your part you should go some weekends and when bowlers around you see how your bowling see that hook they want that! You just show them how you do it and tell them about the balls in the pro shop. I always lead with even if you only bowl once a month don't you want your own ball that has not had 10000 gross fingers in it from god knows where! After having fun with some of the people at glow bowl I have seen them in leagues the next year or so.

Plus in bad weather they track in snow and cause problems by standing in the isle and so they are told to stay out until the league is finished.
Lol, so only open bowlers track in snow?

A "League" bowler takes his bag out of the car, and rolls it thru the parking lot picking up who knows what crap onto the wheels.

Then in USBC's most important tournament, they allow these bags with crap on the wheels to be rolled on the approaches where people will have to slide.

There are a ton of daytime senior leagues around here. I think it's because that generation was much more into bowling than the past couple of generations have been.
