Any FL members planning on leaving within the next couple days due to the storm? Seems like every time they put out a new track projection it's putting landfall closer and closer to here (jacksonville)..

Apparently gas stations are already beginning to run out of gas and palm coast (about 45-50 min south is dry).

Not even related to the storm, it has been raining here now for a good 7 hours straight and on and off since like 7:45 this morning (11:30pm now)

Be safe down there in Fla. but remember if it gets too bad we will have plenty of snow to shovel this winter. It is cold but it probably won't kill ya.

I'm on the Gulf side and as of now we shouldn't get much...Good luck and be safe on the east coast!

Good luck and be safe Lou and Storm and anyone else in the path I know some of the projections show Florida getting hit twice.

Not a thing happened in the Tampa area.

A bowling center a good distance inland might be your safest bet. Go there and get a room nearby, and throw some practice 300 games ! Stay Safe!

I feel sorry for the poor people who live in Haiti they don't have any options. Folks in Fla just go inland, Haiti doesn't have any inland. They live in cardboard houses.

We had decent wind and pretty bad flooding at the beaches. Lost about half the pier they rebuilt like 10 years ago (using concrete). The flooding at the beach and the st Augustine beach area was a few feet.
