    Default Rev Rate

So I want to calculate my rev rate. I've seen that if you put a piece of tape on the ball and record your shot you can calculate the number of revs. My question is this, where, what orientation, and what length should the tape be in regards to the finger holes?

Find your pap and put a strip of tape from there

Optimally you want about 5" of tape running for your initial PAP, along the axis migration (usually between fingers and thumb)

Depending on your layout, the axis migration could curve up towards your fingers, or curve down towards your thumb.

That will keep the tape fairly horizontal, and visible as the ball flares.
