Thread: I made a Boo Boo

One thing about Michigan, our summers are typically not hot enough to overheat the balls, but the winters can get a little brisk, so as long as my balls are not sweating in my trunk (this sounds bad, I just don't know how to make it better) I usually just store my balls in my trunk. But the winter I need to bring them inside otherwise they get too cold... Most companies I have talked to they recommend not allowing the balls to go above 130°F Most of the time they start to sweat around 115°F... Never asked about a minimum temperature tho.

Personally I would have kept the 3 ball bag, gotten a plastic spare ball...

Do these lockers use individual keys or one key that everyone uses? Our house is the latter so there is no way I would leave my equipment.

Our house uses one key for all and leaves the key in open site by the front counter. I don't have a big problem with it even if I leave three balls in my locker. Honestly bowling balls aren't big theft items and virtually no resale value.

not so much worried about someone stealing it so much as messing with you. You come in for league go to your locker and your equipment is gone either in another locker or out the door forcing you to not bowl that night or use a house ball. Some people are just spiteful and want to win at all costs

If that was ever a concern forget locker issues I would high tail it out of that center and never look back.

That was one way of fixing it. I was going to say why don't you just leave the balls in the locker and the empty bag in your car. So when you bowl, you use the bag to get from the locker to the lanes and you have the bag in case you need to bring the balls to another center.

yes that's not a problem but now I have a choice...lol...I am just the type of guy that has to fix anything broken or at least take it apart and try....EX...I am using my laptop which fell and was destroyed, I took it all apart and put it back together and bought a USB keyboard for 2.50 at big lots and the rest of it is held together with duct tape. My problem is that when I buy a another used laptoptop I do not know how to get everything from my HD to the new one...

I had this happen to me. Blue Pearl Hammer was stolen from a locker was my favorite ball ever. I'm pretty sure it was a competitor that did it.
