The prices on fleecebay er I mean ebay are just about as high
or just as high as they are retail. You used to get some good
deals off of ebay but not so much anymore I can usually buy
the same stuff from an online source just as cheap or cheaper.

This is 100% true! I stopped using that site years ago. The days of actual auctions where you can get a steal are long gone. Now everything is buy it now or the auctions have set reserves that are the retail price or higher.

I found a great deal on a Hammer three tool kit that included a bevel knife, workout tool, and tape extraction tool on eBay. I found an even better deal on the same set on one of the online retailers after finding a promo code. I like eBay for tape and other small things, but if you are willing to do a little searching with the online retailers and get some promo codes you can make out really well.
