Default League Fees: Pay them off faster or pay as you go?

Just curious, do you pay your league fees off faster or as you go through the season? My team tries to get them paid off before the New Year. As fees are expensive, paying as you go helps, but having that fee paid off sure feels nice!! My fees will be paid off this week.

My Girlfriend & I pay 2 weeks at a time.

One of my team mates pays 10 weeks in advance and the other pays by the week.

We use to pay a dollar extra a week to pay off the last 2 weeks early, Now we just pay it off a few weeks before.

On one team I was on some team mates payed the whole season off the first night.

Paying weeks in advanced is okay, you don't have to worry about paying every time you walk in.

But it's a lot of money up front, also you could run into problems getting your money back. If you have to quit the team or the team folds up etc.

I pay as I go. My Weds league is $19 a week and I just give $20 each week so most likely the last 3 or 4 weeks I'll be paid up.

I usually pay a month or two at a time, and I try to have them paid off by March at the latest.

As treasurer in one of my leagues I see the different ways that people approach this subject. We have one team that takes great pride in paying the exact amount each week. Another team rounds up to the next multiple of ten and then takes a week off from paying when they get a full week ahead. This season, one team has paid for the first half of the season.

I try to be 3 or 4 weeks ahead so if something comes up ( such as a hospital stay) I'm not behind. My Friday team paid a month at a time
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

Try to do 3-4 weeks at a time but some weeks just 1 week. Ideally would like to just write a check for the whole season ($18 x 33 weeks = $594) but with 2 leagues it's not in the cards

I usually just pay each week. Depends on the league but half the time I round up. Like summer league is 16...I put in 20 a week and after 4 weeks I take one off, then repeat
