Default Bowled for the first time in 6 months Friday

The doctor has not told me I can go back to bowling yet. However the wound is now smaller than it was the last 2 years I bowled so I decided I would start back with a limited schedule. I went to the center I will be bowling league in with the intent of throwing 4 of the balls I drilled over the summer to get an idea of what they do. When I got there Calumet College's teams were there and the center had a 39' sport shot out for them. Game 1 was with the Forza Gt and I shot 135 with no warm up so the first half of the game was rough as far as scoring went. Game 2 was with the Forza Redline. I shot 183 with 2 opens , missed a 10 an chopped the bucket. Game 3 was with the Deranged and the Gold Rhino Pro. I shot 148. All in all it was a productive session where I was pretty happy with what I aw. It went well enough I intend to start back in 2w weeks. I would start back this week but do to the Holiday I have dialysis Wednesday instead of my normal Thursday and I'll be wiped out. The balls all reacted as I expected and will give me a nice progression.. The Forza GT wwikk be in the bag in case we see a little more oil than normal as it seems to be a tick too strong for what I saw. The Redline and Deranged will share the first ball out of the bag depending on how much backend motion I need. After that it will be Venom Coba or Gold Rhino Pro
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

Welcome back! I recently returned after a seven week layoff due to hernia surgery. One thing that I definitely learned: after not being able to bowl, I found out how much I love the game regardless of the results. Bad bowling is much better than no bowling at all!

Great to have you back in the game!! Just ease back though. No super-long sessions. Sounds like a great arsenal!!

I've had a couple of layoff's over the years due to surgeries and injuries, it's nice to get back. Glad to hear you've made it back to the lanes !
