Yup. The centers around here still appear to do a brisk business, but the big threat is that as for real estate go up, between increased property tax and the potential profits from a sale, it could eventually be more profitable to sell out and close than to stay open. This might be less likely for independent centers but ones affiliated with the national chains I'd say always have this possibility.Originally Posted by NewToBowling
This center is near me. I've never been, but no matter how successful the bowling alley was or could have been, it is no match for the value of the property as a housing development.
