Wow thats rough! I love my TPUx but not dragger friendly I don't think. I know of several people with them that use the fuzzy side of velcro on the end to help protect the toe.
Didn't they address the toe on the 9's?
This is the beat up toe on my SST 5 pivot foot.
If I remember correctly Dexter SST Tanks have been mentioned here previously as shoes good for those who drag a bit. Anyone else have experience with this or good shoes for this? I think I'll be able to use my 5's for a while longer, but I can see that I should probably start planning on a replacement.

I'm a toe dragged and my G3 Tours have been great as it has a big toe cap.

SST9... the toe part of the shoe is built into the interchangeable sole
I've have the Tanks and the 3G Ultra Tours. Both are good shoes. The Tank has a beefed up toe cap while the 3G is beefed up you can also replace the toe cap. The 3Gs broke in a little easier. The 3Gs also seemed to come with more heels and the sole cleats are easy and cheap to replace.
