Default Would this work as a cheap version of Jayhwak Detox De-Oiling machine?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-PRO-LARG...25.m3641.l6368

    Or these from Alibaba:
    https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/ult...ling-ball.html

$55 vs $1600. As I understand it both are "ultrasonic" so I'm guessing this cheap knock off will de-oil the ball just as well?

I do not believe a bowling ball will fit. From ad; inside dimension 7"x5.5"x2.5" deep). The tank is big enough for cleaning standard CD/DVD.

Some members have used a food dehydrator. Maybe they will post here.

Yep that's a bit small for bowling ball.

I've seen a post or two where someone made their own, the controller & ultrasonic transducers were pretty cheap on ebay.

The DIY rice cooker/dehydrator ball cooker is still I think the best bang for the buck. For doing it yourself at home.

I am in the process of building one as we speak. Will keep all posted.

There is a 10L someone in New Zealand? has used. It is big enough to fit the ball in, but only deep enough to do 1/2 the ball at a time. The problem is even the bigger capacity usually only increases height and width, not depth. Unless of course you go huge but then the price is exponential as well.

I built a dehydrator recently. With the extra trays, feet at the bottom to support the weight and to hold the ball, and a rf thermometer with remote display/timer/alarm I have about $90 in it.

ok, finland. It ended in "d" lol. Found the video. Hope this helps

Edit: I looked at doing this but I wasn't crazy about the vibrations in both noise and if it would have harmful effects to the ball itself. Such as if it had a hairline crack would it expand? Chance of seperation from the core? Those sorts of things persuaded me to build the dehydrator instead.

We have sonic cleaners at work to clean metal parts that aren't that strong. Seems like that would do some damage over time.

Right about what I have in mine. Where did you get the feet?
