Default Watched a PBA50 tournament today....

and I started by watching doubles partners Parker Bohn III and Patrick Allen compete on lanes 17-18. Lane 17 was possessed !! It would randomly reset to the 2nd shot with a full rack, or sweep away their spare leave for no reason. Multiple times the sweep dropped mid-approach by a bowler. They never hit it but it had to be so difficult to compete knowing that lane could just do that at any time.
Parker/Allen made it to the finals. They had won it the last two years, but today they hit the unstoppable force. Other team had a guy shoot 290/279 and they stopped the title defense.

Matt White and Jeff Zaffino, both from Warren PA. They beat Tom Baker and Chris Loschetter in the semis; both are/were touring pros as well. I sat with Matt's wife and their 5 year old daughter during the finals. Jeff Zaffino averaged 248 for the tournament on the PBA50 Cheetah pattern. 35 feet of oil. He left two 10 pins over the two games in the finals.
