Maybe with him but I would think the majority of pros cover their own travel.

Honestly I havent watched bowling on TV in many years. Seems like when I was a kid my grandma was watching it on tv every saturday but not anymore. Sucks since I would love to show my kids instead of having them watch old videos on youtube.
Yoda I often read post and wonder about the people who post them. When was the last time you acutally watched a pba show on TV?
In your profile it says you average 230 yet your high game is only 265 and that doesn't sound right, was it a miss type?

Shouldn't everyone have to fill out a profile so we can weigh their posts against their profile?

yeah the scores are a mistype . Didnt ever realize it so I may go back and fix it one of these days. And what does my score have to do with watching Bowling on TV anyways? I answered the question based on why I would think the Majors would be on in February. And also I have yet to find PBA bowling on TV every saturday like it used to be. Unless I want to add more cable channels to my bill to get them. Which I dont sorry.

Based on your profile how much validity should we give to your posts? Or vice versa......

I would imagine most everyone here is on Bowl.com unless they just Bowl unsanctioned leagues (yes, I still call it unsanctioned)

So I have to be on bowl.com to post here and give my input? Why would that matter? I just got back into bowling a couple years ago. I dont bowl leagues (except for a church league). However I still research balls, bags, and more to learn as much as I can. I dont see anywhere where I said I am some elite level bowling guru or came across as such. Last time I checked this board was for people who enjoy bowling, both competition and non-competition.

Don't worry about fordman1. He's all bark and no bite. Just a bit temperamental

Maybe I could clear this up. There are people who come on here and ask for advice, like what ball should I buy. No info about sex, age, weight etc. So you look at their profile and it is blank. Maybe they say around here, around where Fla or Alaska? I check and nothing.

Then there is the guy giving advise on things that their profile shows they have no idea about according to their skill level.

No. With the amount of governmental and corporate information gathering going on, no one should be forced to enter more personal information than they feel comfortable with.

Also, unless you require enough information so people could do a search on BOWL.com to verify honor scores and averages, what is there to keep me from lying on my profile to appear to be a much better bowler than I am?

Lastly, I filled out my profile in 2010 and haven't really thought about it until now. Except for name and state, most of the info is out of date.
