Yep he was. The lanes were pretty burnt so both Belmonte and Simonsen were struggling a bit. It was a good final, looks like Belmonte is going to have a big year. He looked a lot more relaxed. Last year I thought he lost a little confidence.
PBA Players Championship (SPOILERS INSIDE)
Belmonte was dominant this week. I didn't watch the qualifying but looks like he pretty much lead throughout averaging over 230.
He seemed to be on TV a lot in 2016 but didn't win a title. Looks like a good 2017 for him although he did bowl his best in finals yesterday. Was never flush but got enough carry.
I enjoy watching him and EJ Tackett bowl. Hopefully both of them will be on TV a lot this year.

That being said, the emcee led chanting and clapping got on my nerves after about 5 seconds. I'd much rather listen to the same segment of a song 12 times per game than that craziness
